Subscription Policy

You may access parts of Birdie Box for free, and other services and products require payment of subscription fees. This Subscription Policy is incorporated into the Birdie Box Terms of Service, and applies to users who have purchased a Birdie Box subscription plan to access Birdie Box through a mobile application, and to individuals whose payment details have been used to purchase the Birdie Box services.

Subscription Plans

Our subscription plans are listed below:

Subscriptions plan and explanation:


i. Free Subscription plan (£0.00):


  • Memory Bank: Create up to 5 memories within the same day (with 2 file uploads)
  • Reminders: Create up to 5 reminders within the same day (with 2 file uploads)
  • AI Integration: Limited
  • Invitation to Family/Caregivers: Not Available
  • Location Tracker: Not Available
  • Voice Integration: Not Available

a. Free Subscription: The free subscription plan allows you to create up to 5 same-day memories and 5 same-day reminders, with limited AI for recall purposes. Reminders will notify you through mobile phone alerts. The plan does not include access to the location tracker, invitations to family and friends, or voice integration for prompt alerts.

Please note that same-day means reminders or memories saved or created cannot be carried over to the following day.


ii. Premium Subscription plan (£9.99):


  • Memory Bank: Create up to 5 memories
  • Reminders: Create up to 5 reminders
  • AI Integration: Limited
  • Invitation to Family/Caregivers: 2 Invitations Available to friends/caregivers
  • Location Tracker: Not Available
  • Voice Integration: Not Available

b. Premium Plan: The premium subscription plan includes the ability to create up to 5 memories and 5 reminders per day, with limited AI integration for recall. It allows for up to 2 invitations to be extended to family members, friends, or caregivers. Primary users can create up to 5 memories or reminders that can be carried over to future dates as long as they maintain a premium subscription. They can also invite up to 2 members or caregivers to create reminders on their behalf. Both primary and invited users are limited to creating 5 memories or reminders per day, and AI integration remains limited under this plan. The primary user can make a call and chat privately with invited users directly through the app.

Invited users cannot edit or delete their entries on Birdie Box. Only the primary user has the ability to edit or delete entries in family members' and caregivers' profiles, but they cannot edit or delete entries in the Doctor's profile.

Please note: If the subscription is downgraded from premium to free, previously saved information will remain accessible in the memory bank or reminder section but will no longer be retrievable using AI integration. Users will need to manually navigate to access memories or reminders, and invited users will be removed from the account.


iii. Location Tracker plan (£15.99):


  • Memory Bank: Create up to 5 memories
  • Reminders: Create up to 5 reminders
  • AI Integration: Limited
  • Invitation to Family/Caregivers: 2 Invitations Available to friends/caregivers
  • Location Tracker: Device Available
  • Voice Integration: Not Available

c. Location Tracker: Customer feedback has shown that some location trackers are too noticeable, making it challenging for users to adapt to them. To address this, we offer a discreet, customisable tracking device that can be integrated into everyday wearable items.

Customers interested in this service can request the location tracking device by filling out a contact form on our website (BirdieBox.ai). The device must be purchased separately.

i. The form will require users to specify the purpose of the tracker, the item they wish to integrate it into, and upload pictures of those items.

ii. Upon receiving the completed form, we will guide users in selecting the appropriate tracking device from our website, along with links and instructional videos on how to embed the device.

iii. The tracker can be managed through the Birdie Box app, allowing invited family members, friends, or caregivers to activate the device as needed. The device works with a premium service. Please note: The tracking device remains off and will only activate when triggered through the app.

iv. Premium + Location Tracker Subscription plan (£19.99):


  • Memory Bank: Create up to 10 memories
  • Reminders: Create up to 10 reminders
  • AI Integration: Limited
  • Invitation to Family/Caregivers: 2 Invitations Available to family/caregivers
  • Location Tracker: Available
  • Voice Integration: Not Available

d. Premium + Location tracker: This plan can only be purchased if the location tracker has been acquired. It includes up to 10 memories, 10 reminders, limited AI integration, up to 5 invitations to family members, friends, or caregivers, and access to location tracking.

Under the Premium + Location Tracker plan, primary users can create up to 10 memories or reminders per day, which can be carried over indefinitely as long as the premium plan is maintained. They can also invite up to 5 family members or caregivers to create reminders on their behalf. Both primary and invited users are limited to creating 10 memories or reminders per day, with limited AI integration.The primary user can make a call and chat privately with invited users directly through the app.

Invited users cannot edit or delete their entries on Birdie Box. Only the primary user has the ability to edit or delete entries in family members' and caregivers' profiles, but they cannot edit or delete entries in the Doctor's profile.

Invited users will also have access to the location tracking service, allowing them to track their loved ones. The tracking device can be toggled on and off within the app by invited users when needed, enabling them to monitor the primary user's location temporarily.

Please note: If the subscription is downgraded from Premium to Free, previously saved information will remain available in the memory bank or reminder section but will not be accessible through AI integration. Users will need to manually navigate to access memories or reminders, and invited users will be removed from the account. Location tracker can only be enabled through the primary user's account temporarily.


v. Premium + Unlimited invitation to family/friends/caregivers Subscription plan (£29.99):


  • Memory Bank: Create unlimited memories
  • Reminders: Create unlimited reminders
  • AI Integration: Unlimited
  • Invitation to Family/Caregivers: Unlimited invitation available to family/caregivers
  • Location Tracker: Available
  • Voice Integration: Not Available

e. Premium + Unlimited invitation to family/friends/caregivers: The premium subscription service offers unlimited access to create memories and reminders, unlimited AI integration for recalling memories or reminders, and unlimited invitations for family, friends, caregivers or medical practitioners (Doctor or pharmacy).

Under this plan, primary users can create an unlimited number of memories and reminders that can be carried over as long as the premium subscription is active. They can also invite an unlimited number of family members or caregivers to create memories and reminders on their behalf. This plan is compatible with location tracking if a location tracker is in use. The primary user can make a call and chat privately with invited users directly through the app.

Invited users cannot edit or delete their entries on Birdie Box. Only the primary user has the ability to edit or delete entries in family members and caregivers' profiles, but they cannot edit or delete entries in the Doctor's profile.

  • Voice Integration: Available

f. Premium + Voice integration: The premium subscription service offers unlimited access to create memories and reminders, unlimited AI integration for recalling them when needed, unlimited invitations for family, friends, or caregivers, and voice integration.

Voice integration provides the following features:
i. Log into the app using voice recognition.
ii. Access memories or reminders through voice commands.
iii. Voice-integrated AI recall.
iv. Voice interaction to assist the primary user when they are confused, disoriented, or unable to remember.
v. Real-time recommendations for the primary user.

Under this plan, primary users can create unlimited memories and reminders that can be carried over as long as the premium subscription is active. They can also invite an unlimited number of family members or caregivers to create memories and reminders on their behalf. This plan is compatible with location tracking if a location tracker is in use. The primary user can make a call and chat privately with invited users directly through the app.

Invited users cannot edit or delete their entries on Birdie Box. Only the primary user has the ability to edit or delete entries in family members' and caregivers' profiles, but they cannot edit or delete entries in the Doctor's profile.

Overview of Subscription Plans and Payments

We offer many different types of individual plans and the specific pricing terms applicable to your account may vary depending on the type of subscription and the term you select at the time of purchase (e.g., monthly or yearly). In addition, some of our subscription plans renew automatically, as described in more detail below. If you have questions regarding your plan following your purchase, please refer to your Account page and the confirmation email sent to the email address associated with your account after your purchase. Our mobile subscription plans are billed in one payment for the applicable term.
This means, for example, that if you purchase a monthly plan, you will be charged for the full month's payment each month; if you purchase a yearly plan, you will be charged for the entire year at the time of the purchase and each time it renews. Please note that we may use a third-party payment processor to facilitate your payments. Applicable taxes, regulatory surcharges, and assessments, if any, may be added to your charges.

Refund Policy

Birdie Box subscriptions made within the app ( on android) except the monthly plan (e.g., yearly) offer a 14 days, 100% money back guarantee. You may receive a refund by contacting our Customer Service team within 14 days of your purchase. After that 14 day window, we will not provide a refund. We do not prorate refunds or offer partial refunds, and we do not offer refunds for monthly subscriptions.

Please note that if you purchase a subscription through the Apple Store, the sale is final, and we will not provide a refund. Your purchase will be subject to Apple's applicable payment policy , which also may not provide for refunds. Please contact Apple Support for assistance.

Other than stated above, you hereby acknowledge and agree that Birdie Box will not offer refunds on any fees and charges related to your purchase of any Services. This includes bank overdraft fees or any partially used or unused periods for which you have already paid. For subscription-based enrollments, except as stated above, upon cancellation of your subscription, you will not be issued a refund for the most recently (or any previously) charged fees.

4.

Renewals

By subscribing to Birdie Box Premium plans, you are signing up for an auto-renewing subscription requiring recurring payments, and you expressly authorise Birdie Box to automatically charge the applicable recurring fee and any applicable taxes to your payment method unless and until you cancel. App subscriptions, Birdie Box subscriptions made in app (android or ios), renew automatically using the payment details on file for your account. If you purchase a subscription with automatic renewal, you acknowledge and agree that we are authorised to use the payment information on file for the renewal fee and any applicable taxes. The date that your subscription will automatically renew is provided on your Account page and in the payment confirmation email sent after your initial purchase. You may cancel automatic renewal at any time before that date through your Account page or by contacting our Customer Service team. This will stop future subscription charges from accruing to your account.

For annual subscriptions (on android), we will refund renewal payments if you contact our Customer Service team within 14 days after each renewal occurs. We do not offer refunds for renewal payments for monthly subscriptions. For annual subscriptions (on Apple ios), please refer to section 3 and 6 of this policy.

If you signed up with a promotion, your renewal rate may be higher than your initial rate. Please refer to your Account page or the confirmation email sent after your initial purchase to review details about the renewal amount and the date of the next renewal.

5.

Tax Responsibility

Depending on your determined jurisdiction, payments required may be stated exclusive of all taxes, duties, levies, imposts, fines or similar governmental assessments, including sales and use taxes, value-added taxes ('VAT'), goods and services taxes ('GST'), excise, business, service, and similar transactional taxes imposed by any jurisdiction and the interest and penalties thereon, excluding taxes based on Birdie Box's net income (collectively, 'Taxes'). Customers shall be responsible for and bear Taxes associated with its purchase of, payment for, access to or use of Birdie Box. Charges are inclusive of applicable Taxes where required by law. Birdie Box's and your obligations under this section shall survive the termination or expiration of these Terms.

6.

Apple Store subscriptions

Birdie Box subscriptions made through the Apple App Store will be charged through your app store account and renew automatically through your apple account. You acknowledge and agree that we are authorised to charge you through your apple account for the renewal and you will be charged for the regular price of your subscription within 24 hours prior to the end of the current term. You can turn off automatic renewal in your apple account settings, but you must do so at least 24 hours before the end of the current term to avoid renewing. Refunds will not be provided for the unused portion of any term.

7.

Pricing Change Policy

Our prices and features may change in the future. If the pricing for your subscription increases, we will notify you, and provide you an opportunity to change your subscription, before applying those changes to your account or charging your payment details in connection with an automatic renewal. We may not always notify you of changes to any applicable taxes. If we notify you in advance of at least fifteen (15) days, your continued use of Birdie Box after the changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the changes. If you do not wish to continue subscribing with the new fees or features, you may cancel your subscription. If you accept the new subscription, its terms and conditions will apply for that renewal and all renewals going forward.ng. Refunds will not be provided for the unused portion of any term.

8.

Payment Information

By providing payment information to us, you agree that the payment information is valid and (1) in your name or (2) in the name of an individual who has authorised you to use their payment information for your subscription purchase. If you provide someone else's payment information, you agree that we may refund payment to that person if they so request and if the account is eligible for a refund under this Subscription Policy. This may cause interruption to or termination of your Birdie Box service.

9.

Credit Card Billing

Credit card payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. If you have selected a subscription-based plan to be paid by credit card, we will automatically charge your credit card for the cost of the plan and any applicable taxes at the interval selected. If any fee is not paid in a timely manner, or we are unable to process your transaction using the credit card information provided, we reserve the right to terminate your account or suspend or terminate your access to the plan. If you do not bring your balance current within seven (7) days after we provide you with notification that your account is in arrears, we reserve the right to suspend, disable, cancel, or terminate your access to Birdie Box Premium or convert your Birdie Box Premium subscription to a non-subscription account. You will be responsible for paying all past due amounts. If your payment details change, your card provider may provide us with updated card details. We may use these new details in order to help prevent any interruption to the services. If you would prefer to opt out from this service, please contact our Customer Service team. If you would like to use a different payment method or if there is a change in payment method, please visit your Account page to update your billing information. We will advise you by email if we use a new payment method.

10.

Agreement to Receive Electronic Communications

By subscribing to Birdie Box, you consent to receive notifications from Birdie Box electronically to the email address you provide to us. You agree that all notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. You agree that you have the ability to store such electronic communications such that they remain accessible to you in an unchanged form. You agree to keep your email address information current.
